Kristin A. Adams, Ph.D., CHES, President/CEO ,has a Ph.D. in Health Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and MA and BS degrees in Health Education from Indiana State University. She has been a Certified Health Education Specialist since 1998. Dr. Adams joined IFHC as the President/CEO in September 2014. With her extensive knowledge of the healthcare landscape in Indiana and experience in managing different federal and state public health grants. Prior to joining IFHC, Dr. Adams served as the Director of the Office of Public Health Policy and Performance Management at the Indiana State Department of Health. She brings over 20 years’ experience in both the Indiana public health and education arenas to her position serving with state government, national non-profits, institutions of higher education and local primary health care providers.
Chun Liu, Chief Financial Officer/Director of Finance and Operations, has an MBA from the University of Louisville. She joined IFHC in June 2011. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support the agency’s effective and efficient financial and operational management. She has served with the State of Indiana working in a variety of positions related to business management, grants management, budgeting, financial analysis, and operations.
Cassie Denzler, MSA, Staff Accountant, has a MSA from Liberty University. She joined the IFHC team in January 2018.
Cassie has 18 years of experience in banking, finance, and accounting. Cassie also has several years of experience in healthcare finance and accounting.
Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, MD., MPH., MS., Director of Programs and Evaluations, has a MD from Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts, a MPH from Louisiana State University New Orleans, a MS in Hyperbaric Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in Netherlands Antilles, and currently pursuing a MBA in Strategic Management from Temple University in Philadelphia. He is a seasoned change & organizational development leader with extensive knowledge of healthcare and experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers. Prior to joining IFHC, Dr. Dhillon was serving veterans at the Richard Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Indianapolis in the Office of Veterans Experience and the Office of Research & Development. He has 10 years of experience in public health, grants/projects management, revenue cycle management, patient care, QAI, & clinic operations.
Brooke Kennard, MSN, FNP-BC, Brooke is a family nurse practitioner, receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Brooke spent five years as a labor and delivery nurse at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL. Since obtaining her advanced practice license, Brooke has worked in both primary care and women’s health. She enjoys educating her patients and collaborating with them to create individualized health goals in order to achieve optimal health and patient satisfaction.
Amber Melchior, MSN/RN, MBA, Clinical Program Manager, Amber is a registered nurse and has a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She joined the IFHC team in July 2018. Amber has nearly a decade of nursing experience working in women’s health and primary care. She has held both clinical and nursing administration roles throughout her career building a strong knowledge base of the healthcare environment and program management. She has worked closely with clinicians and clients to help achieve positive change and promote healthy families. Amber is dedicated to promoting evidence-based practices and is passionate about providing high-quality, family-centered care.
