Family planning services
for women and men
Exams & Basic Lab Tests
Based on your age and medical needs, you may receive one or more of the following during a visit to a family planning clinics:
- breast exam
- pap smear screenings to detect cervical cancer (for those 21 or older)
- annual gonorrhea, chlamydia, and/or HIV testing
- pelvic exams
- contraception, including IUDs and Nexplanon
- basic infertility screening
- reproductive health counseling
In addition to these services, Title X family planning staff can diagnosis and treat common gynecological issues and other health problems such as vaginal infections, urinary tract infections and anemia.
