Family planning services

for women and men

throughout Indiana.

Exams & Basic Lab Tests

Based on your age and medical needs, you may receive one or more of the following during a visit to a family planning clinics:

  • breast exam
  • pap smear screenings to detect cervical cancer (for those 21 or older)
  • annual gonorrhea, chlamydia, and/or HIV testing
  • pelvic exams
  • contraception, including IUDs and Nexplanon
  • basic infertility screening
  • reproductive health counseling

In addition to these services, Title X family planning staff can diagnosis and treat common gynecological issues and other health problems such as vaginal infections, urinary tract infections and anemia.
