Women's Health

Whether you haven't yet hit your childbearing years, you don't plan to have children, or you have already passed that time in your life, as a woman you need to take time to ensure your reproductive health. Regular medical visits can help detect infections before they become a problem and can even detect various types of cancer — such as breast, cervical or ovarian cancer — while they can still be successfully treated. Of course, your practitioner can also help you with issues of fertility or help you find a contraceptive choice that suits your needs. Be proactive! Take control of your health. For information on where to go for low- or no-cost medical care, see IN Title X Clinics.
