Am I Really Ready to Have Sex?

Here are some questions you
might want to ask yourself:

Yes

No

Is having sex in agreement with my own moral values?

Would my parents approve of me having sex now?

What if I have a child-am I responsible enough to provide for its emotional and financial support?

If the relationship doesn't last, will I be glad I had sex with this person?

Am I sure my partner is free from all sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) including HIV/AIDS?

If any of your answers to these questions is "NO," or you are not sure, then you'd better WAIT. As you can tell, having sex requires a lot of thinking. Before you make your decision, educate yourself more about sex so you can make the right decision.

For more information, talk to your parent(s), a responsible adult or contact a Title X clinic nearest you.
