Men's Reproductive Health

The size and spacing of your family can impact on your family's physical, mental, social and economic health. Family planning allows you to control the size and spacing of your children. For numerous years, the scope of family planning has primarily focused on women's health. The time has come for males to get more involved within their own reproductive health.

The federal government has broadened its health agenda to increase the need for male involvement in reproductive health and family planning. These initiatives have surfaced through various community outreach and educational programs around the entire country.

Men must desire to become more involved in family planning by becoming more educated about their health and by taking responsibility for their actions. Men must continue to seek assistance to improve their health through screenings for testicular cancer, prostate cancer and especially sexually transmitted diseases. It is your responsibility to save your life, especially if you hope to one day help produce a life.
