How Do I Examine My Prostate?
 |
While wearing
a rubber glove, place your index finger up inside
your rectum. |
 |
While pressing
the prostate, you should feel like you have to urinate.
You may also feel some pain at the tip of your penis. |
 |
Your prostate
should feel firm and smooth, with a slight V-shaped
groove. |
 |
If you feel
any hardness, pain or lumps, report them to your
doctor. This should be checked by a health care
provider. |
